Omaha to Austin

Some of my dearest friends, Molly and Adam Bealle, have lived in Omaha for YEARS! Molly grew up there and Adam moved there sometime in his teens. I met Molly when she came to OU and Adam stayed in Nebraska going to school and playing baseball. They were High School sweethearts and married right after college and had these three little gorgeous munchkins. Adam got transferred to Austin, TX. and yesterday they stopped to stay the night with us on their way to make their new home together in Austin. I know they will love it, especially the warmer weather year round! Isn't it wonderful to have forever friends? That is what they are. Love love love them! Gracie and Emma are just so sweet together and love when they get to see each other

Rescue Me!

Ok, so lets get caught up on some things that have been going on in our world! One of the biggest things is that Charlie has moved up a class in school! He now sleeps on a cot and eats at a table instead of "in" a table. He seems to really like it! He is talking up a storm and he actually repeated a little something that came out of Stevie's mouth the other day... better watch it Stevie! Don't call people Jack Asses around Charlie! hahaa! I did have to laugh, but quickly had to say that we don't talk like that! He also climbed out of his crib for the first time. Scared us to death to hear a THUD at about midnight! Something had woken him up, I went in there to check on him, and then he was so mad that I left that he hoisted himself out of the crib! I walked in and he was on all fours looking at me like "what the hell just happened?" It made him STOP crying becuase he was in shock! They say that if they fall out once, it is an accident... if it happends again they either need one of those bed tents or to be moved to a big bed. NO THANKS! I would like to keep him trapped in his crib as long as possible!

Moving on...
We went to my parents lake house for the 4th and it was great! Charlie LOVED the fireworks and he just kept saying "bright" and "loud" but he never cried and it didn't freak him out. They were AWESOME! they were literally right in front of my parents house so they were HUGE!

Mom made a great shrimp boil for the fourth. Look how beautiful it is! We all wore our "rescue me" tshirts that we got from Fluerty Girl http://www.fleurtygirl.net
all of the proceeds went to the oil spill and to help the Audubon marine and sea turtle rescue in Louisiana. You know we LOVE our NOLA! If you would like to check out all of her shirts they are on her site. Her facebook page is great too, she is just a doll.Sunday morning we finally made it to Miami, Ok to see my Grandma Cherry. We tried to go Memorial weekend, but for anyone that heard how horrible that weekend was for us, knows that we didn't make it! Cherry is my dad's mom and has been in poor health. She sure was happy to see all of us though! She just smiled and giggled and I was so glad that she got to see Charlie. We were there last fourth of July but now he is so big and is so sweet. He went up to her and said "HI" and then he said "La You" (love you) oh, just made my heart melt!
We had a great trip and please excuse the binkie in all of the pictures! He was a little cranky during both pictures. Nothing shuts a baby up like their bink! I am HOPING to have it gone by the time he is 2.

Here are two videos of CG. He LOVES to dance and now he loves riding the digger at my mom and dad's house... Dax watch out, this little one is out for a race... or a crash!
